For years, Mac fans have known that you must have a FireWire external drive for it to be bootable. We have purchased a few FireWire drives, but lately they seem to be harder to find, especially ones with a cooling fan. Our article on the Antec MX-1 enclosure (USB 2.0 and eSATA) forgot to mention the big news:
Intel Mac users can boot from either USB or FireWire drives.
I think this makes the Antec MX-1 the perfect enclosure.
